Simón Delacre, founder of CARAVEL FILMS, is the screenwriter, director, and producer of The Apocalypse of Saint John. He is an Argentine, a devout Catholic, and a family man.

His career began at the University of Buenos Aires, where he studied film. After graduating, he began directing and producing a series of science fiction short films, thus honing his skills as a well-rounded filmmaker.

With a background in professional photography, Simón worked for many years as a photographer and videographer. In 2020, he began producing and directing his debut feature: The Apocalypse of Saint John. Out of his deep interest in the study of End Times prophecies and his fascination with Hollywood films from the 1990s and 2000s—especially in the science fiction genre—was born The Apocalypse of Saint John: a film that will surprise audiences both for how edifying it is and how entertaining.
